Meals on Wheels of Greenville County is holding events this and Monday to raise money for their daily operations, which feed thousands of homebound individuals across the county.

Meals on Wheels Par Tee will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville.

One of the Meals on Wheels biggest generators of funds, the party is themed after the 1980 golf comedy film "Caddyshack." “This is a fun way community members can support Meals on Wheels, and ultimately help us continue this life-saving mission.”

All proceeds support the mission of Meals on Wheels to enhance the quality of life for homebound individuals by providing meals and personal contact to those in need. Each day, more than 1,500 meals are packaged and delivered by volunteers.
