More than 100 Classes for Senior Adults Available
The Furman University program offers variety of courses.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Furman University will offer more than 100 courses and events during its fall 2011 term.
OLLI at Furman encourages senior adults in the community to stay healthy and young by exercising their minds and bodies through participation in the OLLI learning community.
Registration is now underway for classes, with many filling up quickly. Courses begin Sept. 12 and run through Nov. 18. All courses are held during the weekday.

The annual OLLI membership fee is $35. The cost for classes is $210 for six courses per year, $275 for nine, and $325 for 15 courses. Members may also take a single class for $50. Scholarships are available.

Your Brain and How it Works, Bridge for the Beginner, Beekeeping, Genetics, What Happened and Who is Accountable?, The Iliad, Team Trivia, Hurricanes and Severe Weather, French, Modern Real Estate Practices, Your Personality Potential, Latin, Magical World of Charles Dickens, Music of the Night and Everyday Uses of Science.
Classes are taught by current and retired Furman professors and volunteers from the Greenville community who have a passion for sharing their knowledge with their peers.
