Neighborhood Watch Workshop Being Held Today

If you're interested in organizing a watch group, today's event could provide very useful information.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office will host a Neighborhood Watch Workshop
on today.

The event will be held at the Greenville County Square County Council
Chambers at 300 University Ridge in Greenville.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m., with the workshop beginning promptly at 9:00 am.

The Neighborhood Watch Workshop is sponsored by the Sheriff’s Office Community Services Division. Community Deputies will be on hand to answer questions regarding all of the county’s communities in addition to guest speakers and safety training tips.

Assistant Solicitor Judy Munson will offer a session on domestic violence abuse and information followed by Saluda River Neighborhood Watch Coordinator William Splawn’s informational talk on “Where Angels Fear to Tread: The Organizing and Maintaining a Neighborhood Watch Program.”
