New Nothing Bundt Cakes Opens in Greer

Owners Diane Hardy and Kandi Bubonic met nearly a decade ago in Texas when Diane and husband Jim were training to open their first Nothing Bundt Cakes in Greenville. Kandi was their trainer and immediately hit it off with the couple. Fast forward to 2023, Diane, who had since founded the Mom and Pop Association to advocate for small business owners in South Carolina, was traveling throughout the state and wanted to find an operating partner to take care of their original Greenville bakery. She looked no further than her friend Bubonic who had opened bakeries in Columbia (Forest Acres and Columbia-Northeast) and whom she’d remained close to. Now, they are thrilled to open in what Bubonic calls the “coolest little town” of Greer. “We have the best of both worlds in locations with Greenville, Columbia and now in Greer,” shared Bubonic. “We are so happy to be able to share more sweet joy with South Carolina!” The new bakery, which opened on December 20, will host a grand opening for the community (see details below).

  • Community Appreciation Days – The following will receive 20% off in-bakery cake purchases on their designated day: Monday - Healthcare Workers, Tuesday - Teachers and School Staff, Wednesday - First Responders and Military, Thursday - City Employees and Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Members and Staff
• Thursday, January 16
  • 4 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting with Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce
• Friday, January 17
  • Let There Be Mom Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization dedicated to serving local moms and dads who are battling a life-threatening illness
• Saturday, January 18
  • 9 a.m. – Free Confetti Bundtlets – Guests will receive a Free Confetti Bundtlet while supplies last (up to 300)

Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 5314 Wade Hampton Blvd, Unit A and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m.. to 5 p.m. The luscious cakes are baked daily using the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
