Nine Died On S.C. Roads This Weekend
This brings the 2012 total to 500 deaths since the first of the year.

So far in 2012, 35 Greenville County people have died on South Carolina highways. This comes after an additional nine deaths statewide over the past weekend, according to the Department of Public Safety. Greenville's fatality numbers are consistent with where those figures were this time of year for the past four years.
The nine deaths from Aug. 17 to 19 included four motorcyclists and five vehicle occupants. One was not wearing a seatbelt.
