Nursing Supervisor Accused of Stealing Drugs

Tammy Allison, director of inpatient and emergency services, was terminated from her position at Village Hospital.

A nursing supevisor at an Upstate hospital was arrested earlier this week after being accused of stealing drugs.

Tammy Allison, 43, of 257 Rock Springs Drive, Spartanburg, was arrested on Wednesday, according to the Spartanburg County Jail website, and charged with violation of drug distribution laws and theft of a controlled substance — first offense.

Allison, who served as director of inpatient and emergency services, was terminated from her position at Village Hospital, according to the Herald-Journal.

Allison was released from jail on $10,000 bond.
