Obituary: C. Othell Forrester of Greer

Cleotis Othell Forrester, 82, of Greer, S.C., died March 29, 2013 at Greer Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of the Baptist faith, a native of Greenville County, son of the late William Baylis and Vaudy S. Forrester, a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and was a retired employee of Homelite.

Surviving are his wife, F. Jean H. Forrester; two sons, Michael and Henry Forrester; two daughters, Tammy F. Baker (Pete) and Anita F. Spicer (Eddy); two brothers, Dorrance Forrester (Mary) and Frank Forrester (Pat); four sisters, Betty Thomas, Zelma Howell (J.R.); Wilma Clayton and Brenda F. Lockhart (Gerald); one brother-in-law, Cecil Brewer; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Forrester was predeceased by one great-grandchild, Davey, one sister, Bonnie F. Brewer and one brother-in-law, Kenneth Clayton.

Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Ronnie Williams and Ray White.

Visitation will be held 2:45-3:45 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in the Family Life Center.
