Obituary: Claude F. Durham of Greer

Claude F. Durham, 77, of Greer, husband of Carla Deen Cagle Durham, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Born in Greenville on October 18, 1935, Mr. Durham was a 1954 graduate of Parker High School. He held a Master Plumbers license for over 40 years. During that time he taught Plumbing license classes at Greenville Tech and was past President of Durham Mechanical Contractors, Inc. He recently retired from Condustrial Inc, as Quality Control and Safety Manager.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Greer, and was past deacon of City View First Baptist Church, Greenville. He was a Mason and Shriner, member of Greenville York Rites and the Hejaz Shriners of Mauldin.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Claude Anthony "Tony" Durham and wife, Michele Heynes Durham; a grandson, Dylan Anthony Durham; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Dwain Cagle.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice .
