Obituary: David G. Hawkins of Taylors

David Grady Hawkins, 70, died March 20, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Henry Grady and Corrie Elizabeth Holder Hawkins, he was a retired employee of M.B. Kahn/Argo.

Surviving is his wife, Helen Howie Hawkins of the home; one son Thomas Hawkins of the home; two daughters, Cheri Golden of Oxford, N.Y. and Brandy Manley of Greer; one brother, Garry "Cotton" Hawkins of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandchildren, Drew, Kara, Ethan, Emma and Eli.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Marcus Buckley. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.
