Obituary: David K. Hughes of Greer

David Karl Hughes, 63, of 111 Blue Ridge Way, died March 5, 2013 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of Harriette Polk Hughes of Greer and the late Lewis Walker Hughes, he was a U.S. Air Force Reserve Veteran and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one daughter Angela H. Singleton of Reidville; two brothers, Lewis Douglas Hughes and Dennis Hughes both of Greer; one sister, Donna Marie Summey of Greer and two grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Singleton.

Visitation will be held 6:00-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of his mother, 478 Gail Ave., Greer, S.C. 29651.
