Obituary: Frances Farmer Jones of Greer

Frances Geraldine Farmer Jones, 83, died March 16, 2013 at Omega Health and Rehab.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Theron Clyde and Odessa Griffin Farmer, she was a secretary at M. Lowenstein & Co. Her first husband was the late James Gillard.

Surviving are her husband George M. (Butler) Jones of the home, a brother Theron Farmer of Greenville, and two sisters, Billie Grant of Wahalla and Margie Aughtry (Jim) of Gaffney.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Victor Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ken Vickery. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Jim Aughtry, Ann Holland, Derek Farmer, Chris Farmer, Ronnie Grant and Chris Grant. Honorary escort will be the Love Sunday School Class.

Family is at their respective homes.
