Henry Clay Wilson, 88, husband of Mary Louise Fasson Wilson for sixty-seven years, of 108 Ridge Springs Road, died March 18, 2013.
Born in Muskogee, OK, he was a son of the late Frank Clay and Cassie Wilson. He was owner of City Welding for fifty-eight years.
Mr. Wilson was a member of Laurel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. He loved the church and the Lord and he is with Him today.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry Leon and Felicia Wilson of Taylors; and Brian Keith and Christie Wilson of Greer; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Abby Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, J. V. Brown.
Services will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Laurel Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Burnley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
