Overnight Shooting In Greenville County Sends One Man To Hospital

Deputies said they found the victim in the front seat of his vehicle near Boulder Creek Apartments.

An overnight shooting sent one man to the hospital, deputies said.

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about 2:30 a.m. on Friday for a gunshot victim at Boulder Creek Apartments, 300 Furman Hall Road.

When the deputies arrived on scene, they found a 53-year-old male from Greer who had been shot in the driver's seat of his Jeep Cherokee, which was up against some mailboxes, the release said.

The man was transported by ambulance to Greenville Hospital System.

Deputies said they are still in the early stages of the investigation and no suspects have been positively identified.
