Religion: Services to Mark Holy Week in Greer, Taylors

Easter Sunday is just a few days away and several churches in the area have planned special services.

We have compiled a list of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Sunrise services that we know of this week.

March 28 — Maundy Thursday

Lee Road United Methodist will hold Good Friday services at 6:30 p.m.

March 29 — Good Friday

Taylors First Baptist will hold Good Friday service and the Lord's Supper from 12-1 p.m.

Lee Road United Methodist Church will hold Good Friday/Tenebrae services at 6:30 p.m.

North Hills Community Church will hold Good Friday services at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Marathon Church will hold Good Friday services at 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Bible Church will hold Good Friday services at 7:30 p.m.

March 30 — Egg Hunts, Vigils

Prince of Peace Catholic Church will hold an Easter Vigil services will be a 10 a.m. Blessing of the Easter Food Baskets, 8:30 p.m. Solemn vigil of Easter.

Springwell will offer a special service called Restart at 6 p.m.

Pebble Creek Church will have a pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

March 31 — Easter Services, Mass

Taylors First Baptist will hold Easter services at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Velocity will hold services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. They will announce their new Welcome Center.

Prince of Peace Catholic Church will hold mass at 8 a.m. (Organ mass), 10 a.m. (Solemn mass) and noon. (Latin Sung mass).

Lee Road United Methodist Church will have a sunrise service at 7 a.m. Easter services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Lee Road Baptist will hold Easter services at 11 a.m.

Springwell will offer a special service called Restart at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

North Hills Community Church will hold Easter services at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Faith Baptist will have Easter services at 10:45 a.m.

Grace Baptist will have Easter services at 10:45 a.m.

Brushy Creek Baptist Church will have Easter services at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m.

Pebble Creek Church will hold Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

Marathon Church will have Easter services at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Washington Baptist Church will have an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. Easter services will be held at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.

Fairview Baptist will have Easter services at 10:45 a.m.

Heritage Bible Church will hold Easter services at 10 a.m.

El Bethel Baptist will have an Easter sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. Easter worship services will be held at 10 a.m.
