Reminder: Greenville County Schools, Offices Closed Monday

Sleep in a little bit Monday because the kiddos are out of school.

All Greenville County Schools and the district office will be closed as part of an originally scheduled professional development day.

Employees scheduled to work on May 27 will work extended hours the rest of the week or take leave, according to the school district.

Closing the schools and the district office saves about $50,000 per day in utility costs, the district said.
