Report: Woman Attempted to Walk Out of Target With $426 of Goods
Greer police said the woman ran from the store when an associated attempted to check her receipt for the items in her shopping cart.

A woman attempting to shoplift almost $500 in products fled from the store when a store associate attempted to check her receipt.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday at Target located at 6025 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greer.
According to the report, the suspect filled her cart and the proceeded to walk past all the cash registers and was attempting to leave the store.

The report said a store associated asked to see the woman's receipt, she fled from the store.
The store was able to recover the items in the shopping cart, but manager's advised police that the grocery items would have to be destroyed, as the could not re-sell them.

The total amount of the items was $426.88.
Here are some of the items on her shopping list, according to the incident report: Resolve, Gain, Tide pods, Tyson chicken, potatos, Folgers coffee, Swiss Miss, Sprite, Mello Yello, Pepsi, a quilt set, dog treats and a beef loin.
Greer police were alerted a short time later that they woman may have been caught shoplifting at a Taylors Walmart. A warrant was pending.
