S.C. Air National Guard Taking To Upstate Skies Thursday
Exercises will take place in the skies above Anderson, Greer.

If you're in the Upstate today and hear the roar of a jet engine overhead, don't fret - it's just pilots of South Carolina Air National Guard doing their thing.
WSPA reported that members of the S.C. Air National Guard have been scheduled to fly air defense exercises over parts of the Upstate in F-16 fighter jets.
Jets are scheduled to fly over portions of Anderson, Florence and Greer as part of the guard's routine exercise meant to test the outfit's ability to respond to airborne threats in the United States.
