Salvation Army to Accept Applications for Christmas in November
Volunteers are needed to help families fill out forms Nov. 1-4

The Salvation Army will begin accepting applications for assistance in November.
Each year, The Salvation Army provides toys, clothes and food for Greenville County residents in need of assistance.
This year, applications will be accepted from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 1-4 in Hall 2 of the TD Convention Center, off Pleasantburg Drive.

To make an application for their children ages 13 and under, parents will need to bring a photo identification, proof of income and monthly expenses for their household, birth certificates for each child and a DSS household summary.
More than 1,000 families are expected to apply this year and volunteers are needed to assist with data entry.

Volunteers are needed each day from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12:45 to 5 p.m. If you are interested in help, please contact Pamela Garcia at 235-4803, ext. 17 or pamela.garcia@uss.salvationarmy.org to volunteer.
