Sanitation District Will Ask Council for Public Hearings to Annex Eastside Properties
A resolution is expected to be presented before Greenville County Council Tuesday asking for a public hearings on several Eastside properties.

A resolution to be presented at Greenville County Council Tuesday night will ask for a public hearing on the annexation of the Del Norte subdivision by Greater Greenville Sanitation District.
The special purpose district will also ask for a public hearing to include certain properties at West Mountain Creek Church Road, East Lee Road, Hartsville Drive, Bald Rock Drive and Altamont Road within its boundaries.
Both resolutions say the purpose is to enlarge the sanitation district.

According to the resolution, Greater Greenville Sanitation was created for the collecting of refuse, garbage and trash within the district, and to engage in the operations of dumps or landfills for the orderly disposal of refuse, garbage and trash within Greenville County.
