School Bulletin: Greer Middle College Charter High School

- Greer Middle College Charter High School makes AYP!  After an appeal to the State Department, Greer Middle College was given the Adequate Yearly Progress status for the 2010- 2011 school year.  Previously the school was left off of the "met status" list because of graduation.  GMC will graduate its first senior slass this school year.
 
- Cross Country News:  The Boys Team finished third in the state and the girls finished fifth.  Tori Cooper, James Page and Micah Williams earned All-State honors.
 
- Senator Phillip Shoopman visited Greer Middle College last week to take a tour of the campus and to give an update on the charter school bill in the Senate.  Student government students, board members, parents and teachers were privileged to meet and mingle with the Senator in the cafeteria.
 
- Congratulations to the following students who were inducted in the first class of the National Honor Society of Greer Middle College Charter High School.
