School Bulletin: Washington Center

Here are the latest announcements from Washington Center in Greenville.

Students at Washington Center learned to spin, trap, catch and track balls in the adapted table tennis game during the Adapted Physical Education classes. The students use ping pong balls, which are a variety of sizes and textures, to play one of the games.

Many of the balls have bells inside, combined with the Ping Pong sound on the table, it is a stimulating and fun activity.

The students are encouraged to reach and use both hands to spin the balls on the table. At least 80 balls are used during the activity. For many of the students, the favorite part is picking the balls up off the floor and placing them in the basket.
