U.S. Senator Tim Scott visited the campus of Furman University Friday to meet with the school’s Bridges to a Brighter Future students.
Bridges to a Brighter Future is a comprehensive college access and pre-college academic enrichment program for Greenville County high school students whose families are living below the poverty level. The program, which includes a four-week summer residential session on the Furman campus, provides its students with the tools and support needed to graduate from high school, enroll in post-secondary education, and graduate with a post-secondary degree.
