Sheriff's Office Asking For Help Identifying Robber

An unidentified man unsuccessfully tried to steal prescription medicines from an Eastside pharmacy.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the man who tried to hold up a pharmacy in eastern Taylors on Saturday. 

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 21, a white man in a grey hoodie approached the pharmacy desk at the CVS at 2446 Hudson Road, near Old Spartanburg Road. According to the Sheriff's Office, the man gave an employee a note demanding prescription medication. The note also indicated the suspect had a weapon. 

The man was reportedly scared off by other customers in the store, and nothing was taken.

Investigators need the public's help in identifying the suspect, as shown in surveillance photos furnished by the GCSO. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office or CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
