Sheriff's Office Investigating Taylors Auto Theft

Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of an car on Taylor's east side. 

At roughly 9 a.m. Monday, a 30-year-old Taylors woman contacted the Sheriff's Office to report that her car had been stolen, while she slept at her 4897 Old Spartanburg Road residence. 

The Sheriff's Office did not release any suspects or persons of interest in the case. The car stolen was a four-door Chevrolet Aveo valued at roughly $10,000. 

Auto theft isn't uncommon in the Old Spartanburg Road area of Taylors. In August, an unidentified at , less than a quarter-mile away from Monday's incident location, as the victim exercised inside. 

No one was able to provide a description of the thief in that case, either.
