Staffing Company Renews Upstate Commitment With Downtown Headquarters

Phillips Staffing now runs its operations from downtown Greenville location.

Phillips Staffing, a major staffing company, has relocated its corporate headquarters to downtown Greenville to accommodate growth in its recruiting, sales and marketing, and administrative operations to serve clients in the Carolinas and Georgia.  Phillips has been headquartered in the Upstate for some 40 years, and the recent relocation to Greenville's downtown area is said by officials to represent a renewed commitment to staying in the Upstate.

The new headquarters is located at 55 East Camperdown Way in the former Bowater Building, along with co-tenants Clemson University and the Nexsen Pruet law firm.

Launched in 1968, Phillips is a staffing, payroll management, professional placement and HR consulting firm with 75 staffers and close to 3,000 temporary employees on assignment for clients across the Southeast on any given day.

“Our goal with this corporate move is to send a clear signal about Phillips Staffing’s commitment to Greenville and the Upstate, and to our customers here in the Carolinas and Georgia, that we are here to support them and to help them grow and prosper with the people they need to be successful as they emerge from the economic down cycle of the last few years,” said Blanton Phillips, CEO of Phillips Staffing.
