Sullivan Supports Reece's Petition Campaign, But Says He'd Vote For Fair
Chris Sullivan, who challenged Sen. Mike Fair in the June 12 primary, says he supports Tommie Reece's efforts to get on the November ballot.
Tommie Reece is hoping to get five percent of the active registered voters in Greenville County to sign her in November so she can challenge Sen. Mike Fair for the District 6 seat of the S.C. Senate, and it appears Fair's former opponent, Chris Sullivan may be good for one of those signatures.
Sullivan, a prominent Republican consultant who ran against the incumbent Fair in the June 12 primary, was able to . Now, he says he supports Reece's efforts to get on the ballot after she was kicked off of it just days before the primary. to get back on the ballot before deciding she would try to get on the November ballot by way of petition.
Sullivan said he believed Reece was wrongfully kicked off the ballot.

"It was wrong for Ms. Reece to be removed from the ballot, especially so close to election day," Sullivan said. "I think she ought to have the opportunity to present her ideas to the voters, so I would be willing to sign her petition."
That doesn't mean she'd get his vote if she did run against Fair.

"In the general election I would support Sen. Fair because he is clearly the more conservative of the candidates," Sullivan said.
