Suspect in Greer Murder Arrested in New Orleans
46-year-old woman awaits extradition back to South Carolina

A woman who has been sought by deputies for more than six months after allegedly shooting her boyfriend to death was found Monday in New Orleans.
Elvira Robinson Seay — also known as Elvira Lynn Seay — is awaiting extradition to South Carolina, according to Master Deputy Jennings Autrey of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
Seay is suspected of shooting her 38-year-old boyfriend, Juan Luis Tofoya-Gonzalez to death on April 29, and then dumping his body, deputies said.
Gonzalez's partially clothed body was found on May 3 on a dirt road near Woodruff in Spartanburg County. Seay was identified as the suspect soon after, and the search for her began. The crime is believed to have been committed at an Anderson Ridge Road home in Greer, according to warrants and incident reports provided by the Sheriff's Office.
Seay is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
