Taylors Man Indicted For Child Porn
A 24-year-old man from Taylors was arrested and charged for possession, receiving and distributing child porn.

A 24-year-old Taylors man has been indicted on charges of possessing, receiving and distributing child pornography.
Russell Chaney Leupp was charged by a federal grand jury, the U.S. District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday. in a two-count indictment with possessing, receiving and distributing child pornography.
The case was investigated by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney William J. Watkins, Jr., of the Greenville office for prosecution.

The case was brought on as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorney’s Offices, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as identify and rescue victims.
Leupp could spent up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
