Taylors Man Killed In Motorcycle Wreck Was Near His Home
Coroner's office releases identity of man killed in one-vehicle collision.

The man who died late Monday night in a was killed a few hundred yards from his home, according to information released by the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
Deputy Coroner Kent Dill has identified the victim as Jonathan Blalock. Blalock, 36, lived at 406 Waddell Road in Taylors, near the intersection of East Warehouse Court.
Lance Cpl. Scot Edgeworth of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said Tuesday morning that Blalock died after his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle, which was being driven northbound on East Warehouse Court, ran off the right side of the road. Blalock, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected after the motorcycle struck a utility pole. The collision occured at 11:21 p.m. Dill said Blalock was pronounced dead at 11:38 p.m.

An examination of Blalock's body indicated he died from blunt force trauma to the chest.
