Taylors Man Tops The World's Highest Peaks

Ron Sanga, 60, has successfully climbed the tallest mountain in each of the world's seven continents.

Ron Sanga is 60-years-old, going on 25. This year, Sanga, a Taylors resident, completed climbing the "seven summits," or the highest mountain peaks in each of the seven continents on Earth, the Greenville News reports.

“It’s more about the accomplishment and doing things that other people have tried and couldn’t do or very few people do,” he said. “It’s just something inside of me. I’m very competitive. I like hanging on to my youth.”

Ranga has successfully climbed Mount Kilmanjaro in Africa, Mount Everest in Asia, Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, Mount Elbrus in Europe, Mount McKinley in North America, Mount Vinson in Antactica and Mount Kosciuszko in Australia.
