VIDEO: TD Bank Announces 1,400 Jobs in Greenville; 200 in Lexington
The company announced on Wednesday morning that Greenville would be a regional hub for the bank's operations.

Gov. Nikki Haley was in Greenville on Wednesday morning for an economic development announcement.
TD Banks announced that it would bring 1,400 jobs to Greenville and 200 to Lexington over the next five years.
"This is a major investment in the future of TD Bank. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of the Interstate 85 campus and creation of more than 1600 jobs to support our growth," said Bharat Masrani, president and CEO, TD Bank. "Our Greenville regional hub will provide TD Bank with a strong foundation and capacity to accommodate the expansion of America's Most Convenient Bank from Maine to Florida."

The announcement was made at the TD Bank Corporate Campus on Carolina Point Parkway.
The company said Greenville become a regional hub, adding 1,400 jobs to its Interstate-85 campus. The $17 million renovation will begin next year. Currently there are 160 employees working at the campus.

"It's another great day in South Carolina, and we celebrate TD Bank's decision to increase its operations throughout our state and create 1,600 new jobs," Haley said. "These new jobs will have a big impact on the Upstate, the Midlands and beyond."
