TD Bank To Begin Hiring
After it announced a massive hiring spree in the Upstate last year, TD Bank officials said Wednesday that it would begin with hiring some 200 people for a call center in Greenville.
Decidedly bad news for TD Bank employees in Springfield, Mass represents the first round of encouraging news for the work force in the Upstate.
WYFF4 is reporting that TD Bank will hire 200 people to staff a 24-hour call center in Greenville off of Interstate 85. There is no word on when the hiring will begin, though some 200 people will be needed for the new center, which will be part of a consolidation of call center operations from a closing facility in Springfield, Mass.
In November, , adding 1,400 jobs to its Interstate-85 campus. Currently there are 160 employees working at the campus.
