Tigerville Road Wreck Results In Fatality, Arrest

A 58-year-old man is charged with DUI after he lost control of his vehicle early Monday morning, killing his passenger.

A 47-year-old man was killed in an automobile wreck that resulted in the arrest of the vehicle's driver early Monday morning. 

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Monday that at 3 a.m., a 2006 Nissan Altima being driven by Roy Warren ran off the roadway on Tigerville Road in northern Greenville County. 

The car overturned during the collision, and killed 47-year-old Eddie Davis who was pronounced at the scene. Both Warren and the Davis were wearing seat belts.

Warren was arrested and charged with felony DUI, and was in jail Monday morning at the Greenville County Detention Center, where he was being held on $25,000 bond.
