Two Area Teachers Are Teacher of Year Finalists
Adam Massey, a business teacher at Greer High School, and Jan Woodward, a dance instructor at the Fine Arts Center have been named to the finalists lists for Teacher of the Year.
Two area teachers are being recognized for their contributions both inside and outside the classroom.
Adam Massey, a business teacher at Greer High School, and Jan Woodward, a dance instructor at the Fine Arts Center have been named finalists for the Greenville County Teacher of the Year.
Massey has been a teacher for six years. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina and his master's of education from the University of Georgia.

Woodward has been teaching for 24 years. She received her bachelor's degree in English with a dance major from Florida State University. She received her master's degree in fine arts from Florida State University.
The finalists will participate in classroom observations and also will be interviewed by members of the selection committee.

The Teacher of the Year will be selected in August.
