According to Joanie Thresher, Director of the South Carolina USO, “Donating to this special collection is an easy way for the community to show support and appreciation to troops who make incredible sacrifices to serve and protect our country. I am very appreciative that Verizon Wireless shares our vision and is allowing over 35 stores across SC to serve as collection points for these essential supplies since our inventory is very low.”
The USO lifts the spirits of America's troops and their families millions of times each year at hundreds of places worldwide by providing a touch of home through centers at airports and military bases, top quality entertainment and innovative programs and services. The USO also provides critical support to those who need it most, including troops and their families, wounded warriors and the families of the fallen.
