VIDEO: Drunk Driver Who Killed Taylors Woman Pleads Guilty

Christopher Sanchez, 21, pleaded guilty Tuesday to leaving the scene of an accident and felony DUI.

It wasn't a scene of anger or resentment Tuesday inside Courtroom 8 at the Greenville County Courthouse as Christopher Sanchez pleaded guilty to killing Angela Lococo in an automobile collision last October. 

Lococo's and Sanchez's families both wept at the loss of life and the inevitable legal consequences of drunk driving during Tuesday's proceedings, which concluded with Sanchez being sentenced to 12 years in prison by Judge Letitia Verdin. 

According to Deputy Solicitor Andrew Culbreath, on Oct. 8, 2011, Sanchez was driving his car behind Lococo on Wade Hampton Boulevard near .

Sanchez, who apologized profusely for the incident, pleaded guilty to felony DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison and a $10,100 fine.
