Wade Hampton, Eastside, TR Baseball Advance to District Final

Wade Hampton, Eastside and Travelers Rest baseball teams have secured spots in the district finals.

Wade Hampton beat Spartanburg, 4-2, at Duncan Park in Spartanburg Monday. The Generals will have to beat Nation Ford twice Wednesday to win the district final. The first game will start at 5 p.m. See bracket.

Eastside beat Wren, 9-6, Monday at Wren. Eastside is expected to play Friday in the district final. Their opponent has not been determined. See bracket.

Travelers Rest beat Walhalla, 5-2, at home Monday. Travelers Rest will play again Friday in the district final. See bracket.

Blue Ridge baseball's game was postponed Monday to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Emerald High School. See bracket.

Blue Ridge softball will play again Wednesday, after losing, 7-6, in the bottom of the eighth to Seneca Monday. See bracket for details on their possible opponent.
