Walmart Market Coming To Greer
Permit for $2.4 million renovations to former Winn-Dixie building will pave the way for a 24-hour Wal-Mart Market on Wade Hampton Boulevard.

Wal-Mart has filed an interior commercial upfit permit for renovations to 805 Wade Hampton Boulevard for a new store there, GreerToday.com reports.
The site at Greer Plaza will be home to Wal-Mart's first Neighborhood Market in South Carolina, bringing some 100 jobs to Greer. The store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Wal-Mart, which is widely known for its massive superstore locations, continues to grow its Neighborhood Market operation, which moves into vacated storefronts to sell its grocery and food products.

The store in Greer is expected to carry a full line of groceries, such as meat, dairy, deli, produce and frozen foods, along with a full pharmacy.
