What NOT to Bring to Greer Family Fest
The 29th Annual Village Hospital Greer Family Fest begins Friday night, but remember there are a few rules you have to follow.

The 29th Annual Village Hospital Greer Family Fest begins at 6 p.m. Friday.
While organizers do want you to have fun, there are some things that just aren't allowed at the festival.
So here's your list of What NOT to bring:

- No alcohol
- No coolers
- No skates, skateboards, scooters or bicycles
- No pets (assistance dogs are permitted)
What DO you bring?:
- Bag chairs or blankets for those FREE concerts
- Family and friends
- Money for your concessions and any rides (And, there's an ATM on site, too!)
- And, an appetite for fun

The public lot near the Greer Police Department, Cannon and Jason Streets, School Street, and other public parking lots. Organizers said some parking spaces will be used for events space, so be patient and be prepared to walk a block or two. You can also call the Greer Station Association at (864) 416-0129 or visit www.greerstation.com for more parking information.

10 a.m. to noon — 2013 Greater Greer Prince and Princess Pageant
Location: Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Anne Helton Creation Station presented by Mitsubishi Polyester Film
Location: Historic Train Depot on Randall Street
Creation Station features over 35 FREE arts and crafts projects for children. The Creation Station is sponsored by Mitsubishi and presented by area churches.
12:30 to 1 p.m. — Chandler Creek Elementary School Choir — Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. — Benton Blount — Nationwide Insurance Garfield Main Stage
1 to 2 p.m. — Greer Idol Season 7 LIVE Auditions — Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
2 to 4 p.m. — Elizabeth Wood — Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
3 to 4 p.m. — Dylan Arms —Nationwide Insurance Garfield Main Stage
4 to 7 p.m. — Arvie Bennett Jr. — Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
4 to 5 p.m. — Travis Smith — Nationwide Insurance Garfield Main Stage

7 p.m. — Citizen's Building & Loan Veteran's Walk of Honor in Greer City Park
All veterans who would like to participate are asked to meet at the fountains in Greer City Park at 6:30pm.
7:30 to 10 p.m. — The Morgan Riley Band — Upstate Information Hub Community Stage
7:30 to 10 p.m. — The Marshall Tucker Band — Nationwide Insurance Garfield Main Stage
