Wig-Waving Woman Alleges Daughter 'Had Been Eaten by Dogs'
Venda Dill was charged with public drunk, breach of peace and introducing contraband into a jail last week in Greer.

A Greer woman was charged with breach of peace and public drunk after she caused a disturbance at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Wilson Street last week.
Greer police said that Venda Dill was standing in the middle of the street waving a wig in the air and yelling when an officer arrived on the scene.
According to the report, Dill, 48, of 305 Sunnydale Drive, told an officer that a group of people had her daughter. The woman told officers, she knew that her daughter was down the street and that she "had been eaten by dogs."

Dill, who was barefoot, said she had walked to the area from Victor Road, according to the report.
An officer wrote in the report that Dill continued to walk into the roadway, was talking to someone not present, had urinated on herself and had multiple scrapes to her face and body.

A witness said that Dill had come to their home and began yelling, "The dogs are attacking my daughter." The man said he went inside to call 911 and Dill walked down the street yelling.
Dill was arrested and transported to the Greer City Jail. Once there, she was found in possession of a hydrocodone pill. In addition to the two previously mentioned charges, Dill also was charged with introducing contraband into a jail.
