Woman Accused of Abandoning Baby Indicted
Jessica Blackham allegedly left her newborn baby in a toilet at the Bi-Lo Center in 2011.

The 25-year-old woman accused of leaving her newborn baby in a Bi-Lo Center toilet in February of 2011 was indicted Tuesday by a Greenville grand jury on charges of charges of unlawful conduct towards a child and inflicting great bodily injury on a child, WSPA reports.
On Feb. 4, 2011, a newborn baby was found in a toilet in the women's restroom at the Bi-Lo Center, where a circus was being held. Jessica Blackham eventually turned herself in to the Greenville Police and admitted she had abandoned the child.
A grand jury handed down a true bill of indictment Tuesday on charges related to the incident, which Blackham later attributed to amnesia.
