Woman kidnapped in Greer
A woman told authorities she was kidnapped at knifepoint in Greer, and later released by her captor.
WYFF is reporting that a Greer man is in custody after allegedly kidnapping a woman he knew from church.
Greer police Lt. Jimmy Holcombe said Joshua Every came to the woman's home on Wood Avenue and forced her to get into a car with him.
Holcombe said Every drove the woman around Greenville County for an undetermined amount of time before returning to her home.

After a standoff, Every was taken into custody.
The woman was not injured in the incident.
