Woman Injured When Hair Gets Caught In Escalator

A woman shopping at Haywood Mall was injured Thursday morning when her hair became stuck on an escalator at the shopping center, WYFF4 reports. 

At roughly 10:30 a.m., the Greenville Fire Department was called to the JC Penny area of the mall in response to the woman's hair becoming entangled in the escalator there. 

The woman reportedly fell on the escalator, causing her hair to become stuck. She was freed from the escalator and taken from the scene on a gurney, according to the report. 

She suffered a cut to her head from the incident.
