Man Claims To Be 'Reincarnated Devil From Las Vegas' At Tennessee Cell Phone Store

A man pulled a knife and said he was the "reincarnated devil from Las Vegas" at a Gallatin Sprint store Thursday.

GALLATIN, TN — A man claiming to be the "reincarnated devil from Las Vegas" pulled a pocket knife inside a Gallatin Sprint store Thursday, prompting a lock-down at nearby Volunteer State Community College and launching a manhunt.

Gallatin Police said the man entered the store shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday, brandished his blade and made his Satanic claim. The nearby community college was placed on lockdown as a precaution as the man left the store after making his threats and apparently was no longer in the immediate area.

The shelter-in-place remained in effect at Vol State until 2 p.m.

The suspect was wearing a black shirt and left the area in a four-door grey sedan.
