1 Dead In Another Fatal Shooting At A Nashville Hookah Bar

ANTIOCH, TN -- For at least the seventh time in the past year, someone was shot at a Nashville hookah bar early Friday morning, as a man was killed outside the Arabian Palace Lounge on Bell Road.

Metro Police said the man was getting out of his car in the hookah bar's parking lot when he was shot in the chest just before 1:20 Friday morning.

Witnesses told police the shooter is a black man in his mid 20's, wearing a white shirt and black pants. He drove from the scene in a white or light gray sedan, perhaps a Chrysler. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

Though presumably unconnected, it is at least the seventh shooting at a hookah lounge in Davidson County since May 2017:

• May 14, 2017: A man was killed in a shootout in the parking lot of the infamous and now-shuttered Cloud IX in Inglewood.
• Dec. 30, 2017: Jason McClain, 30, was shot and killed in Cloud IX's parking lot.
• Jan. 1, 2018: One person was injured in a shooting at Lebanon Knights on Charlotte Pike in West Nashville.
• Jan. 5, 2018: One person was injured in a shooting following a fight at Tarboosh in Midtown.
• Jan. 26, 2018: A man was shot and injured outside Arabian Palace.
• May 1, 2018: One person was killed and another injured in a shooting at Medusa on Church Street.
