14 Arrested, 2 Cited After Massive Fight At Overton

NASHVILLE, TN — Fourteen juvenile students were arrested and two adults students were cited after a massive fight broke out at John Overton High School Tuesday.

The fight, which began Tuesday morning, put the school into lockdown around 11 a.m. and which listed into the early aftrenoon. No one was seriously injured in the brawl.

Metro Police acknowledged the fight "appears to have been between male students of Latino and Kurdish descent." MNPD's gang unit is investigating if there was a racial or gang element to the fight.
