19-Year-Old Charged In Deadly Antioch Crash
A 19-year-old is charged with vehicular homicide in a crash that killed a 78-year-old man in September.

ANTIOCH, TN -- Metro Police charged a 19-year-old man with vehicular homicide in connection with a Sept. 22 Harding Place crash that killed a 78-year-old man.
Reybaz Abdullah, 19, was driving westbound on Harding in an Audi A6 when he allegedly hit a 2005 Buick LeSabre driven by Victor Coode, 78, who was turning left into his driveway.
Coode was pronounced dead on the scene. Two of Coode's passengers including a 6-year-old, Abdullah and Abdullah's passenger were all treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say Abdullah was traveling at a high-rate of speed. There was no indication of drugs or alcohol.
In addition to vehicular homicide, Abdullah is charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. He is being held in lieu of $62,000 bond.
