2 Hospitalized Nashville Waffle House Shooting Victims Stable

Two women hospitalized after Sunday's shooting at an Antioch Waffle House are now in stable condition.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Two women hospitalized after Sunday morning's deadly shooting at an Antioch Waffle House are now in stable condition.

The women - Shanita Waggoner, 21, of Nashville, and Sharita Henderson, 24, of Antioch - had been in critical condition, but their condition was upgraded Monday, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Four people - Taurean Sanderlin, 29, a Waffle House worker, and patrons Joe Perez, 20, DeEbony Groves, a 21-year-old Belmont University senior; and Akilah Dasilva, 23 - were killed when a semi-naked gunman, identified by Metro Police as 29-year-old Travis Reinking, fired an AR-15 rifleat the crowded all-night restaurant around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

James Shaw Jr., a 29-year-old father, wrestled the gun away from Reinking, throwing it over the counter. His actions stopped further bloodshed, according to police.

Reinking fled the restaurant and was still missing as of early Monday morning.
