6 Nashville Students Injured In Bus Crash

Two Metro Schools buses collided Thursday, sending six students to the hospital with minor injuries.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Six May Werthan Shayne Elementary School fourth-graders were injured when two school buses collided in South Nashville Thursday.

The pair of Metro Nashville Public Schools buses crashed at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Road just after noon Thursday as the fourth-grade students were returning from a field trip.

Nashville Fire Department personnel checked out the students. Six were taken to the hospital, all with minor injuries.
