Antioch Stabbing, Fire Under Investigation

An argument ended with a stabbing and possibly an intentionally set fire at an Antioch townhome late Sunday, police said.

ANTIOCH, TN -- Metro Police say a Sunday night argument ended with a stabbing at an Antioch townhome, which then caught fire.

A resident of a townhome on Monroe Crossing ran to a neighbor's around 11:30 Sunday night, saying he and an acquaintance had been arguing, which ended with the man being stabbed.

By the time first responders arrived, the top floor of the victim's home was ablaze. The victim, who was stabbed in the shoulder, was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Meanwhile, the cause the fire is under investigation and police are still searching for the suspect, who is a friend of the victim's grandson.
